Whether I accomplish my goals or not, taking the time to quietly evaluate my life is an important part of the new year. Maybe your resolution for this year is to be more involved, to get out and meet more people in your community. It’s not too late to join a
new club or get involved in an on-going project in EOSC. We are always looking for volunteers at the Thrift Shop or in one of our programs.
Definitely don’t miss this month’s social event on January 19th, and be sure to put the auction on March 16th on your calendar! For your 2012 fitness goals don’t forget about the Wellness Club! Attend some ongoing activities or sign up to find a running/walking buddy to make working out fun!
Maybe your resolution could be to travel more. Take advantage of all the cool places that are within driving distance of Edwards, ask your friends and neighbors where they have been and what their favorite places are. Make a list and try to check them all off before you leave Edwards!
This year will bring many changes and new experiences for all those who are expecting new babies in the coming year. We look forward to welcoming those little ones with you!
This year my fresh start will be at a new base! My husband has orders to Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, and we leave mid-February. I am excited for the opportunities this move will bring, but of course, a little sad to be leaving my friends here at Edwards. This was my first assignment as an Air Force spouse, and I have loved getting to know
you all.
I will be missing you all and looking forward to seeing you again at another assignment someday. Whatever this year brings for you I hope that it will be great, that you will make the most of every opportunity and overcome any setback you may encounter. Live each day to the fullest and always keep looking forward.
May God bless you all and keep your families safe,
Happy 2012!

Happy New Year!
I love the New Year and the fresh start it brings
every January. Whether you are a resolution maker, or just perfect the way you are, everything feels fresh and new in January.
I find that having resolutions or goals gives me something to look forward to and work towards.
